§ 5.1A. Town Administrator.

  • In lieu of establishing the council-manager form of government by ordinance as authorized by Section 5.1 above and by Part 4 of Article 5, Chapter 160A of the General Statutes, the Town Council may establish the position of Town Administrator by ordinance, and may appoint a Town Administrator to be the chief administrative officer of the Town government. The Administrator shall be responsible to the Council for the proper administration of Town affairs, shall serve at the pleasure of the Council, and shall perform such duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Council.
